Projects/Cooperations

In addition to a broad variety of courses on offer, the Wiener Volkshochschulen also realise manifold education projects. Through our projects, main priorities are visualised and people, who are interested in education but have so far not participated in our courses, are specifically addressed.

The projects are sponsored by the city of Vienna, the European Union, the Arbeiterkammer (Chamber of Labour) and other institutions. Annually, approximately 40 projects are conducted by the Wiener Volkshochschulen. Educational projects boost innovations and support the continuing development of our courses on offer.

Cooperations with other institutions are also vital for the Wiener Volkshochschulen - they help us to fulfill our educational assignment. We view cooperations as an effective form of working together that bring advantages for all participating parties.
