Das Projekt B.E.E.P. (Basic Education and Empowerment for Political Participation) will die aktive (politische) Teilhabe von Menschen an der Gesellschaft fördern, die aus unterschiedlichen Gründen ausgeschlossen sind oder sich ausgeschlossen fühlen. Gemeinsam mit unseren internationalen Partner*innen haben wir Wege zur politischen Teilhabe erforscht und konkrete Handreichungen erarbeitet.
Nun sehen wir dem Ende des Projektes entgegen, an dem ein Handbuch mit praxisbezogenen Anleitungen und Aktivitäten für Unterrichtende in der Basisbildung, aber auch andere pädagogische Bezüge zur Verfügung stehen werden, sowie Empfehlungen für politische Entscheidungsträger*innen.
Ein vorbereitender Bericht zum Thema, der Einblick in die Perspektiven von Lernenden und Lehrenden, aber auch Interessensvertreter*innen gibt, ist in sechs Sprachen (Deutsch, Englisch, Griechisch, Italienisch, Portugiesisch, Türkisch) bereits online verfügbar.

The project B.E.E.P. (Basic Education and Empowerment for Political Participation) aims to promote the active (political) participation of people in society who are or feel excluded for various reasons. Together with our international partners, we have researched ways to achieve political participation and developed specific guidelines.
We are now looking forward to the end of the project, when a handbook with practical instructions and activities for teachers in basic education, but also other pedagogical references, as well as recommendations for political decision-makers will be available.
A preparatory report on the topic, which provides insight into the perspectives of learners and teachers, but also stakeholders, is already available online in six languages (German, English, Greek, Italian, Portuguese, Turkish).
